1 pound beef top round steak, cut into strips
2 1/2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons arrowroot
1 tablespoon peanut oil
1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
6 green onions, chopped
1. Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, and arrowroot. Marinate the beef in the soy mixture for 20 minutes, turning often to coat both sides.
2. Heat the peanut oil in a nonstick skillet. Stir-fry the bell peppers and green onions for 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer onto a plate.
3. Cook the beef for 2 to 3 minutes. Put all of the ingredients back in the skillet and cook until heated through.
