-Pork chops (duh)
-BBQ rub (optional)
-Eggs
-Italian style bread crumbs
-Natural Applesauce (optional)
-Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-Dump and spread out the bread crumbs onto a plate.
-Pour some extra virgin olive oil into a pan and heat. Be sure to pour enough so that it's a little bit deep.
-Put a few paper towels onto a plate to help soak up the oil after cooking.
-Use the BBQ rub on the pork chops first (if you're going to use it at all) - warning: this may add sodium, check the rub ingredients.
-Crack the eggs in a bowl and use a fork or a whisk on them (like you're making scrambled eggs).
-Dip the pork chops into the eggs. Make sure it's entirely covered.
-Dip the eggy pork chops into the bread crumbs. Make sure to give them a good coating on both sides.
-Throw them into the heated pan. Cook to a nice brown outside. Make sure there's no pink inside.
-Take them out of the pan and place onto the plate with the paper towels.
-Taste great dipped in applesauce.
Also great with thinly cut pieces of chicken instead of the pork chops (with ketchup instead of the applesauce & no BBQ rub).
