230g steak, cut up into 1.5cm ( thick slices )
1/3 Cups balsamic vinegar
1 garlice clove ( chopped
1/2tsp Sea Salt
2 Pinches Black Pepper
2 Pinches Oregano
1 Tsp Chopped Fresh Basil
1 Bay leaf
1 Tbls Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/8 Cup White Wine
1 Cup cooked brown rice
set aside the sliace of steak. Combine all other ingredient except the rice in a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix together well. Place the slices of steak in the bowl. Refrigerate for about one hour. when you are ready to grill the steak, begin to your rice. Once the rice has been cooked , set it aside. Grill the meat either on an outdoor grill or on Mr Foreman's grill. Be sure not to overcook the meat -steak cooks very quickly. Place the steak over the rice and serve. For a juicier , tastier meal heat some of the marinade in a saute pan or microwave and place it over the rice. Something about the combination of red meat and rice makes this meal very satisfying.
