Carina Bean threads is another thing I was thinking you can add to that soup recipe I just posted. I just didn't know if anybody knew what that stuff was so I didn't mention it. :)

runningbear I'll post it tonight. You can always reduce the amount of noodles significantly or maybe even substitute bean threads. I see that you posted your soup recipe. I'm on my way to check it out.

Carina I made that soup today (see my post to ozipherus.). I forget sometimes.... I didn't totally eliminate pasta 'cuz I do treat myself to what I call a "no-no" food (in my case, potatoes, noodles & rice) once a week. So.... when you get a chance, I'd love your recipe. It sounds really good.

Carina I made the soup tonight and it was delicious. The fresh ginger gave it a really great flavor. I just posted the recipe a little while ago. I could totally see adding other things to the recipe... my husband suggested shrimp. I was thinking noodles or sliced up chicken breast. But it's great just the way it is, too!

runningbear Please do! I have a wonderful recipe for when you're eating pasta again. It's a sesame lemon chicken noodle bowl with bok choy and fresh green beans.

Carina runningbear and ozipherus.... all this talk about loving bok choy, I went out and bought (2) big thingys of it today! I'm not eating pasta right now so I won't be making this recipe. But I just found a recipe for bok choy, mushroom and bean curd (tofu) soup that I'll be making it this weekend. I'll let you both know how it went! ”

Carina There are soooo many things you can do with bok choy.... when I have time, I'll post more recipes. It's great in stir-fry... I made Moo Goo Gai Pan (which means mushrooms with sliced chicken in Chinese) the other day and added extra veggies like bok choy, celery, straw mushrooms. Ha! You're not the only thinking of dinner so early in the morning!

OzzieOcean This sounds amazing, not to mention how easy it seems. I love bok choy, this will be tried very soon!
