Carina It is and it's one of the simpler versions I have come across. The other ones have ingredients which you can only find in Asian grocery stores.

runningbear Thanks. I'll have to try that recipe for the lettuce cups. Hopefully my daughter will be home one night this week and I can make the bok choy soup for her! I love spoiling her when she comes home (hopefully it makes her want to be here more often ; ) ) Have a great day!

Carina Awesome, you'll have to let me know what you think. You know that other one I posted: the bok choy, mushroom & tofu soup? I made it twice this week.. that's how much my husband and I like it. By the way, I made jillybean's Asian Lettuce Cups tonight. Those were really good, too!

runningbear Please don't worry about that. I love Asian cuisine. I've always wanted to try hot and sour soup. I'm SO making this sometime this week.

Carina Ok, I need to broaden my horizons and post more non-Chinese recipes. LOL! Anyways, there are many different ways to make this soup but I chose one where the ingredients can be purchased in a regular grocery store. This is a really super easy recipe, too.
